How AI picks which Erbil businesses to recommend.
TL;DR: When someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI for "a good dentist in Erbil", the assistant does not guess. It searches the web, reads websites and Google listings, and recommends the businesses it can verify. A business with no website cannot be read, so it cannot be recommended. How to be the business AI recommends
Give the assistant what it needs: a website that states plain facts in text. What you sell, your prices, your hours, your location, and direct answers to the questions customers actually ask. Published research on generative engines, the GEO study by Aggarwal and colleagues at Princeton, measured what makes content more visible in AI answers: adding statistics lifted visibility by about 21%, citing sources by about 22%, and quotable statements by about 29%.
